19 acres in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica.
Being built slowly, honestly, and from the ground up.
There is nothing built on these 19 acres yet.
No pavilion. No casitas. No stables. No trails. No cedar lockers waiting on a ridge line.
Just land. Jungle. A river. A waterfall. And a woman who has known for years that this is where something real is meant to grow.
This page exists at the beginning, before anything is built, before any membership is offered, before any infrastructure exists, because MoonRoot Folk was born from honesty. And what is being built here deserves that same honesty from its very first moment.
La Perla Sanctuary will become a physical space for the philosophy that has been building inside this ecosystem for years, a place where the uncovering that happens in digital vaults and podcast episodes and blog posts happens also in soil and water and silence.
That is the vision. It is real. And it is not yet built.
What exists right now is the land, the philosophy, and the intention.
This page will grow as the land grows. Come back.
Each stage funded by Abrihet before any membership is offered. The steward must be rooted on the land before the land can hold anyone else.
Barefoot. In silence. Letting the land show where each space wants to rest before a single structure is planned. This is the most important step and it cannot be rushed.
Built and funded by Abrihet before anything else. The steward's home is the root from which everything grows.
The infrastructure that makes the land livable, sustainable, and genuinely off-grid. Functional before it is beautiful.
Small. Intentional. Built for the quality of rest the philosophy describes, not for the aesthetic of luxury.
Not as a fundraising mechanism. As an invitation to women who have been watching this build honestly from the beginning and feel genuinely called to anchor here. The membership will not be offered until there is something real to offer.
Not a wellness retreat. Infrastructure for a woman's unburdened self.
A multi-level open structure sustainably built, serving as the communal heart of the land. The lower level holds family-style dining. The upper level is the open-air Stillness Shala, suspended over the river canyon.
Small, private, intentional. Where women come to stop performing and start hearing themselves again. Available-never-scheduled. No clock on the land.
Horses cannot be performed for. The round pen and pastures are open at any hour, for guided somatic sessions or simply sitting in the herd's presence. The animals as limbic mirrors.
The crown jewel trail descending to the private riverfront and natural swimming holes. Stone-reinforced paths. A timber horse-hitching station at the basin. The steady sound of moving water as its own regulation.
Ten acres of organic growing, feeding the kitchen. Every meal harvested hours before it reaches the table. No menus. No decisions. Meals that arrive as care rather than choice.
Suspended bamboo canopy decks above the waterfall. Where somatic experiencing and trauma-informed breathwork happen alongside the steady acoustic frequency of moving water. The body releases what it has been holding.
Starting in August, after the first walk, this section will grow. Photos from the land. Voice notes from the trail. Honest reflections on what is harder than expected and what is more beautiful than words. Not a construction newsletter. A woman building something real, sharing it honestly.
The first walk has not happened yet.
Come back in August.
The land will have things to say.
Leave your email to receive updates when something significant happens on the land. Nothing more, nothing less. The right women will find this when the time comes.
Updates arrive when something real happens. Not on a schedule.
Not quickly. Not for everyone. Not before it is ready.
If your nervous system took a deep exhale somewhere in reading this, that exhale is information worth following. The conversation begins with a simple email.
